I just started harvesting summer, (crookneck), squash from my garden. I had no problems with that because I just blanched it & put it in the freezer but I'll be harvesting Kentucky pole beans soon & I want to can them but I don't know how. I'll look through past posts to see if it's already been discussed but if anyone can tell me how to can pole beans, I'd very much appreciate it. On a side note, I have a passion for water gardening but didn't see any related tribes so I started one: tribes.tribe.net/aquaticga...ourselfers I'd love to see pics of other's ponds & waterfalls, share experiences, advice & stuff. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Re: Hello everyone... suggestions please
Sat, June 13, 2009 - 11:28 AMI'm so glad you asked this question, Kimmy. I usually freeze my gr beans, but the ice storm last year ruined all my frozen foods. 8 days with no electricity is a real drag. I've planted a lot of pole beans this year and was wondering how to better put them up. Thanks for the link, I want to do this instead of freezing.
